Salient Features of Institute of Southern Punjab Multan known as ISP.
i. Establishment
The Government of the Punjab through Enactment No. XIV/2010 has chartered & notified in the Gazette of Punjab (Extra Ordinary) dated 02 August, 2010, recognized by the Higher Education Commission Government of Pakistan.
ii. Academic Council
The Academic Council is the main academic body of the Institute and having full authority to lay down proper standards of instruction, research, publication and examinations and to regulate and promote the academic life of the Institute in consonance with the provisions of the Statutes. It falls under is authority to regulate the admission, conduct and discipline of the students of the Institute. It also regulates the studentship, scholarships, medals, prizes and appoints or nominates members to the various authorities. It frames Regulations for the approval of the Board and advise the Board on academic matters.
