Admissions Policy

Fall 2024

  • Admission will be open to all, based upon merit and subject to the meeting of criteria irrespective of race, gender, and ethnicity or socio-economic conditions.
  • Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs shall be made twice a year; i.e. for Fall Semester and for Spring Semester.
  • The number of students to be admitted in a program shall be determined by the Admission Committee at the time of admissions, on case to case basis.
  • Applicants will apply for admission on admission form placed in prospectus or via online admission portal.
  • For all Regular programs (Morning), maximum age limit for applicant is 24 years on the closing date of Admissions.
  • All information submitted by the applicants for admission should be supported by attested copies of all relevant documents including transcripts and certificates; lack of official proof shall render a document invalid.
  • The applicant shall remain responsible for the provision of complete, correct and timely (before the closing date) information to the Admission Office; incomplete or incorrect information will not be entertained.
  • Provision of false, forged or fake document(s) or such entry in the admission form shall be dealt with the prevailing laws of the land. In such a case, the applicant’s request shall not be processed for admission. The admission of such an applicant shall be cancelled.
  • The Institute reserves the right to cancel the degree of such a candidate, at any stage, who succeeds in getting admission by submitting forged / false document(s) or making false entries.
  • The Institute will offer Special Scholarship to the students according to the policy.
  • However, the Admission Committee reserves the right to increase, decrease or abolish the specified percentage of scholarships, on case to case basis.
  • Miscellaneous policies

Shifting of Program after Admission

After admission in a program, sometime student felt that he / she is not fit for admitted program and wants to change  his / her admission to another program, in such case following will be the policy / procedure for Shifting of program:

a) Student shall apply via application to Director Admissions for shifting of his / her Program within one month of commencement of classes of that particular session.

b) However, any newly / late admitted student has 07 days after his / her admission for shifting of program.

c) After lapse of above mentioned time, any student interested in Shifting of program will have to pay Rs.15000/-, however, all paid and due amounts (including fine) till apply for shifting of program will be brought forward.

d) After approval, his / her Admission will be shifted to desired program if found eligible.

e) New fee structure of the program (either same or changed) will be charged.

Student can avail this facility only one time after admission.

Deferment of Admission

After admission in a program, sometime student felt that he / she may not continue studies due to miscellaneous reasons and request for Deferment of Admissions, in such case following will be the policy / procedure for Deferment of Admission:

a) Student shall apply via application to Director Admissions for Deferment of his / her Admissions before midterm of first semester.

b) After approval, his / her Admission will be shifted to next upcoming intake ( program can be changed if requested by the student)

c) Fee paid by the student will be adjusted for next session

d) No fine will be brought forward.

e) New fee structure of the program (either same or changed) of new session will be charged

Student can avail this facility only one time after admission.

Transfer of Program from Main Campus to Women Block or Vice Versa (only for Girls)

After admission in a program, sometime female students felt that she is not fit in Co-Education System and wants to study with female only classes in Women Block or she wants to study in Co-Education classes instead female only classes, in such case following will be the policy / procedure for Shifting of program:

  1. Student shall apply via application to Director Admissions for shifting of his / her Program within one month of commencement of classes of that particular session.
  2. However, any newly / late admitted student have 07 days after his / her admission for shifting of program.
  3. After lapse of above mentioned time, any student interested in Shifting of program will have to pay Rs.15000/-, however, all paid and due amounts (including fine) till apply for shifting of program will be brought forward.
  4. After approval, his / her Admission will be shifted to desire program if found eligible and class is available.

  6. In case, if program is not available in desired Campus / block, no fee refund will be admissible.
  7. Student can avail this facility only one time after admission.

Fee Remission (Fee waiver)

The purpose of fee remission is to provide access to education or services for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. As per policy institute waives or reduce the fees charged to applicant’s upto 30% depending upon the program at the time of admission.

Scholarships

ISP is offering following scholarships to the applicants seeking admission at the institute in session Fall 2024

Nazir Ahmad Chaudhry Memorial (NACM) Scholarships

ISP is offering, “NACM” partially funded (upto 50% in tuition fee) merit scholarships, worth Rs. 30 Million (approximately), for selected programs on the basis of test valid till 31-08-2024.
