B.Sc. Civil Engineering

Introduction

Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with planning, designing, construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of the natural and physical built environment. The prominent sub-disciplines of civil engineering include structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulics and irrigation engineering, and transportation engineering. The program of BSc. Civil engineering was launched in the institute with the permission of the Pakistan Engineering Council in Fall-2014. The curriculum of BSc. The civil engineering program is according to the general guidelines of the latest NCRC, HEC curriculum. The department adopted the Outcome Based Education System for BSc. Civil Engineering program in Spring-2018. The Program Education Objectives (PEOs), Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and the respective Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) were defined and integrated into the curriculum.
