Ph.D. Islamic Studies

Introduction

The department of Islamic studies working under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Saeed ur Rahman. Area of Specialization is Islamic Shari’ah.The department of Islamic studies offered  many programmers like BS Islamic Studies, ADP, MPhil Islamic studies and  PhD Islamic studies. This department focuses on teaching about moral behavior, integrity and honesty, providing a spiritual foundation, promoting tolerance and compassion towards others in a diverse society.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Have an MS/M.Phil. (Islamic Studies)/Equivalent degree in 1st Division or minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00
  • Have passed GAT Subject with 60% marks or ISP admission test with 70% marks
  • Have passed an interview conducted by the Department of Islamic Studies

Scheme of Study Ph.D. Islamic Studies Program

For award of Ph.D. Islamic Studies degree, candidates will be required to complete 18 Credit Hours of course work along with completions and successful defense of 06 Credit Hours research thesis.
