M.Sc Mechanical Engineering
Engineering is considered to be an inspired and highly motivated occupation and profession associated to collective human, material, and financial constituency to gratify the requirements of humanity. Mechanical engineering is one of the extensive and most adaptable of the engineering disciplines and vocations. The main objective of M.Sc program in Mechanical Engineering at Institute of Southern Punjab is to train engineers for professional practice in the fields of quickly progressing technologies. This program would develop autonomy, inventive aptitude, and management as well as the capacity for progressing professional growth. Post-graduate scholars of Mechanical Engineering discipline need in-depth information of the latest advancements in their relevant areas and fields, and should be acquainted with the recent research and development progression in the highly developed countries. They should also obtain a good gauge of revelation to the issues faced by our developing industrial infrastructure and techniques and strategies to deal with them. M.Sc program in Mechanical Engineering would not only fulfil the requirements of graduates who obtain their degrees and wish to further enhance and to be acquainted with latest knowledge and practices in Mechanical Engineering; but unfortunately they do not have any facility to make their dreams of higher education come true because of being living and doing jobs away from an institute of higher education. This program of M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Design & Manufacturing and Power would facilitate such mechanical engineering graduates to make true their dreams of having facility to obtain postgraduate education in Mechanical Engineering without moving to other cities.
- Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education in relevant field from HEC recognized institutions. Entry test will be required for admission.
- GAT-General (GAT-A) (www. nts.edu.pk/gat/gat.asp) / ISP-Admit Test conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required at the time of admission.

An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
