I’ve been teaching and conducting research for 17 years. I hold a doctorate in Media Studies, as well as M.Phil. in Media Studies, M.A. in English Literature, and M.A. in Mass Communication. I’ve been an Assistant Professor (Visiting) in Media Studies and English at Govt. Sadiq College Women University in Bahawalpur for the last 8.8 years, where I teach BS and Masters programs.In addition, I have 8 years of teaching experience at reputable private schools and colleges in Bahawalpur. My doctoral dissertation focused on “TV Entertainment Programs for Children: Content & Effects Analysis.” My research interests revolve around children’s TV entertainment, including the development phases of the top 10 international children’s TV channels, the content of children’s TV programs, the effects of TV programs on children, genres of children’s TV programs, educational content and its effects, as well as themes and narrative structures of children’s TV programs. I am actively working towards establishing policies for an ideal children’s TV channel. Further; the improved children online entertainment.
