The Department of Psychology organized a workshop, “Environmental Psychology: Let’s Go Green for our own sake” on 10th November 2021 at Jinnah Auditorium as an initiative to spread awareness about environmental concerns and psychological wellbeing. Ms. Saadia Zia presented a talk in this regard. The students of the Southern Psychology Society performed multiple stage performances to endorse the initiative. The Director-General, Mr. Saqib Nazir graced the event as Chief Guest. The Head of the Psychology Department, Dr. Umbreen Khizar and her faculty members actively participated and supported the initiative of the workshop. A painting/sketching competition was held on the theme of “Environment and Psychology”, three winning students were awarded certificates of appreciation and prizes made of eco-friendly products. Afterwards, the chief guest participated in plantation activity inside the campus to practically endorse the event.
