Introduction
The department of Electrical Engineering aims at providing a solid foundation in mathematics, physical sciences and computer programming followed by an intensive coverage of principles of electrical engineering both in class rooms and laboratories to ensure that the students are equipped with futuristic professional approach, rationale reasoning, analytical skills and life-long learning techniques. A range of undergraduate and graduate programs are offered at the department of Electrical Engineering to meet the diverse needs and interests of the students. The curriculum in various programs cover a broad spectrum of topics, including circuits, electronics, power systems, control theory, communication systems, renewable energy, and much more. Our Department is vibrant, dynamic, and growing considerably during these last few years due to the success of its students under highly qualified technical staff and faculty. The curriculum is designed to cover fundamental principles and application of electronics, embedded systems, signal analysis, electromagnetic, power generation and utilization, power transmission and distribution, and power system protection. Our Electrical Engineering graduates have found work in local industries and abroad and are dealing with mega projects. We ensure that our graduates have the understanding necessary to maintain their skills and competencies throughout their professional careers.
