Program Mission

The program of Fashion Design encourages the student’s creativity and promotion of individual skills through style and fashion, which provides competitive, efficient and technologically strong quality for growing the business and market values at any stage or level.

Career Prospects

There are plenty of career opportunities after graduation in fashion design from the Best University in Multan or any fashion design institute. The common career opportunities include:

  • Retail Manager
  • Retail Merchandiser
  • Visual Merchandiser
  • Textile Technologist
  • Clothing Technologists

Work experience in a fashion design studio or retail shop is a prerequisite for the beginning of the career. The student may also establish their own fashion dress business as a startup or a self-employed person. The biggest retail fashion chains are run by fashion designers.

Intermediate or equivalent with at least 2nd division

Programs Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

An ability to apply knowledge of art and design, to find an area that favor’s the expressive style.

Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze art problems historically as well as in modern perspectives to arrive at substantiated conclusions using techniques of research, critical analysis, ideas, field and survey.

Solutions are developed for aesthetic issues or problems so that art curriculum can be designed in a way that artists, art critics, researchers and students can be benefited.

Create, select, and apply appropriate ideas and resources to discover new design and give solutions to the artistic problems with an understanding of the limitations.

Understanding of applicable techniques and procedures in art and design.

Knowledge of varied art forms from diverse historical and contemporary contexts.

Sharing of ideas/knowledge with the usage of strong and healthy communication tools with individuals.

Ability to demonstrate management skills and apply management principles to one’s work, as a member or/a leader in a team to manage projects in a multidisciplinary environment.

Ability to work effectively and to manage task by given responsibilities.

Apply knowledge to assess socio-cultural, political issues and the consequent responsibilities towards the society.
