Fashion Design
Introduction
The Fashion Design program is offered at ISP to provide world-class design education in the hub of the South Punjab region. The program aims to educate a new generation of professional and highly skilled fashion designers who can understand and meet the market demand. Through hands-on experience, technical skillset and industry knowledge students learn the design process from concept to the final product. The program focuses on exploring individual style and creativity in each student and learning about trends and forecasts through research and experimentation.
Students are provided with multiple co-curricular activities during the program which include participation in Exhibition Display, Industry Visits, Study Tours, Trade Fair and Design Competitions. Students are also encouraged to do internships in the industry or Brands to gain practical knowledge.
Mission
To provide quality education in fundamental design skills, technological innovation and global industrial practices to;
1. Equip students with a sound design knowledge and train them to behold an individual personality with a unique skill set, capable of working in a professional and competitive environment.
2. Equip them with an emotionally intelligent entrepreneurial mindset in collaboration with the industry.
3. Orient students’ design practices to become reflective citizens dedicated to contributing to the world through problem-solving and critical thinking.
